Hi folks,

I've had Tim Detweilers book of making wooden locks for a while now and have made several of them, however in his book he shows a photo of a large, wooden mortise lock (attached). I'd love to have a bash at making one but I cannot find any kind of plans, reference materials for the lock at all. I can't even track down an email address for Tim to ask him if he would mind helping me out. So, can anyone here offer any suggestions?

Cheers
Craig

Craig do I have some news for you I have just finished talking with Tim at his home in Ohio for over half an hour with his wife on the extension. Sending you a pm soon. He is 85 yrs old beats me by three yrs and was real happy to have a yarn with me and welcomes contact by you. That lock pictured was 23 inches long.

Kind regards Peter.
