Take a guess
I'd definitely be keeping it all, you might not need it all now but you could well in the future.

Yep you need two, as Grump says worth a bob or two

The biscuit tin contents look like non pinned spindle cutters, modern cutters have holes in them for pins to fit in & lock them in place in a block, much safer than non pinned cutters. Do you know how old the machine is?

Steve, you lucky b*******:funny:

Seriously though if you do decide to sell then sort it out and tart it up first as you'll get bugger all for it in that state. The 80mm head with 20mm bore is quite scarce and sought after as it also fits the little K5 and derivatives btw.

What you have is one of the bigger machines and I can probably identify it with some better pics. All the accessories and bits are a real bonus and I suggest if at all possible, DON'T PART WITH IT 'cos you'll regret it.
It's pretty old, at a guess late 70s - early 80s, could be a 704 or even bought as separates and I was branch manager of a company where we sold quite a number to small joinery companies. I have some info still if I search for it and can advise on the functions and general queries if my memory holds up. :nooidea:
It's a decent combi as long as the motor is ok.

I have the smaller K5, bought new late 8os and even though I also own much larger separate machines for all 5 functions, it still gets used regularly and I won't sell it.

Nice little arc welder as well, mine is similar spec , different colour so probably older and works well.

Just noticed you've got a planer knife grinder attachment as well. I have one and it's useful, hope it's intact.

Off to the loft to see what info I have.

Good job I know where everything is - well everything important! :whistling:
Been in the loft. I found a leaflet for the K704 Mark2 which yours isn't so it's either the Mark 1 version or the earlier 7040 / 7042 /7044 depending on exactly what spec machines you have. I also have a brochure for those dated 1981 (don't ask why :nooidea:) and there's a lot of info in it. You won't need the whole 60 page brochure but still a lot so I would need to scan it into a pdf file and probably send it to you via dropsend or similar, if you want it of course.
Will take me a few days before I can do that Steve, just let me know.
