    sex!!

The only way to pull off a lockdown afternoon 'quickie' with their 8-year old son in the apartment was to send him out on the balcony with a Mars Bar and tell him to report on all the street activities. He began his commentary as his parents put their plan into operation: 'There's a car...

    CORYMBIA maculata AKA Spotted Gum.

A Burl blank, never seen the Burl Form before. The tree is indigenous to Australia, has a Gray stem with white bark that flakes away leaving conspicuous spots ,the reason it is commonly called Spotted Gum. This blank the only one I have seen came from the Southern Tablelands in Queensland. Peter.

This is another one of the Beaufort Leveche new plating colours - this one's gunmetal and the blank is a DiamondCast Silver series called "Queen City Silver" (Yes, I know, but I didn't name it :rolling: but it's lovely to turn and the silver particles in it sure do shimmer)

A few weeks ago someone posted pics of a pen called The Cosmopolitan. It is available from PSI in the States. I found a very similar pen at Axminster called a D-SW series from Craftpro. The Red Mallee is a fantastic wood but it had a few hairline cracks and that trapped my polish. Apart from...

    Polaris pens in acrylic.

Buoyed up by the success of my recent Tudor Twist experiment in Briar, I thought I'd try the theory out on another really ugly kit :) I bought two Polaris kits in 'gunmetal' when I started out. The first is a traditional approach with a lovely blank called 'Bloodstone'. The shape is simple...
