Irish Bog Oak teamed up with Beaufort Mistral FP

This is my Irish Bog Oak fountain pen which I have teamed up with the Beaufort Mistral FP kit. I love the quality of the Mistral kit and in the Rhodium and Black Titanium is the perfect compliment to this wood.

    Hairy oak

If you look at the short block of Hairy Oak this pen was made from a slice off this and cut. Few blocks hold together the timber splits across the medullary rays. So great when it holds firm. Peter.

Not posted for a while, been a bit to busy to turn anywhere near as much as I need to. Tried a Kappa with some Bog Oak, I like the look a little bit of bling but not to much. Finished with Melamine.
