    Bright Mistral

A very young at heart old lady, in her seventies, asked if I could make her a pen. I wrongly though it would be a bit somber. She most definitely had other thoughts. A joy to make and more so the smile and hug when I gave it to her.

What is the collective noun for a group of pens do you suppose? I reckon it should be either a fountain of pens, or a bankruptcy of pens. What are your thoughts everyone?

    Advice for finishing ebonite?

Wet sanding (to 15K) and plastic polish give me a great finish on acrylic and CA. Ebonite is a new challenge? And thoughts would be appreciated.

    Thoughts with Manchester

My thoughts are with the victims of the Manchester atrocity and their families. Mindless, cowardly terrorist violence will never prevail over the humanity and compassion of ordinary people. Nothing more to say.

    Sanding pads (Ebay)

These sanding pads seem cheap to me but I have not used them. They have grits up to 2000 would they get into the corners of work any better than traditional sandpaper? Please share your thoughts or experiences with these products. Are they worth buying? deepclough | eBay Thanks Simon

    Your thoughts people's

Another day in the shed managed to finish marking out the latest project and do some shaping. I would like your thoughts on the overall idea and especially the bead on the bottom of the bowl section. There is going to be some texturing and piercing as well as colouring but that is for later. The...
