Wow thats different I love it. I think I need to have a go at that. How did you finish the aluminium to get the shine.

Nothing special, just go through the grits, T cut and finish with a car polish.
My dad used to dip his finished aluminium in a 10% solution of sugar soap as said he used to use that as an air frame engineer to minimise finger print marks. I have never done it myself so can't offer any advice on that one.

I sand & finish like Eamonn then polish with microcrystalline wax.

Drilled and fitted tube Phil, only because I hadn’t got a drill to suit components size..
