So some of you may recall I started a thread looking for a kit to make the above type of pen and eventually found a site that sold them.
Well anyway I finally got round to making one today and have to say I'm not impressed with the kits at all.

Unfortunately they feel quite cheap and the pen clip is very ‘plasticky’. The perfume/atomiser bottle has no proper way of fastening - and if you do manage to get it all secure, refilling it would be a nightmare, I got it all secure but had to use specialist tools to get it apart again something you would not expect a customer to have to do, if you don’t secure it I’m not sure if it will leak.

I have sent the same feedback to the site I ordered from for their knowledge or incase I've done something stupid (I'll update if I have but don't believe so).

Anyway finished I think it looks alright but I'm not confident in how it will perform or last - I think Mrs Padster will get this one and lets see how it performs....

Agree with your comments Paddy, I have turned one blank but for the life of me couldn't figure out how the bottle was supposed to stay attached correctly.
It still in its respective parts (unlike yours) and again, agree with the feel / quality of the parts... Very disappointing really.
On a side note, let them know about the damaged glass bottle and they said they would replace. to date nothing, so not holding my breath.

I spoke to Mrs RobR about the concept, and she was most unenthusiastic. Seems like you've done the best of a bad job Padster.
My wife doesn't mind the concept, but loves the glitter blank so for now its ok - But I'm not confident about selling or gifting, unless its someone I can be brutally honest with and explain I think it leaves a lot to be desired!!!
