Alan hi and thanks for your warm cuddly words... always nice to feel welcome!
My first question, then, is where in the forum to look for which taps to use for various manufacturers nib units?
Welcome
Beufort ink web site is your first port of call. They sell all the taps and dies you need to make a kitless pen. You will also find a tutorial on there detailing how to turn a kitless pen. Getting set up to turn a kitless is expensive. You need to do your home work to make sure you acquire the correct tooling for the type of pen you are going to make. I have probably spent at least £500 on taps and dies mandrels etc and I am just starting out on the kitless route.
Before going down that route my advice would to first turn some kit pens to get used to turning pens. That's if you haven,t done so all ready
