I realise I’ve come to the party a little late here, but does anyone know of any blanks left that I can make a special pen up for a friend?
All the people I can see are out of stock, and the only pieces I can see on EBay are super expensive or the wrong shape.
Thanks

Have you tried "Historic pen blanks"? I bought a piece before Christmas from them...

Could you suffer with using Victory Elm?

Yes, sorry....think I still have a short Oak blank (Sierra size) if that helps??
Thanks Mark,
I’d gladly take up your kind offer, do you happen to have the certificate as well?
The lad I would be making it for is a stickler for his history 😁
Thanks

Hi Garry,
I have some oak from the original roof timber of Durham Cathedral which I got from a friend of mine who got it from the Dean of the Cathedral. Unfortunately it doesn’t come with a certificate but it has a unique colour. You are welcome to a blank as it’s for a veteran. I don’t live too far from you so you could pick it up with a cuppa & a natter thrown in.

That’s a very kind offer Bill, thank you.
I’ll drop you a PM, probably tomorrow, and will try to work out a mutually agreeable date to meet up 👍🏻.

Mark/Bill,
I think I’ve sent you both a PM, but I’m not sure you’ve received them. It is possible, I’ve cocked it up of course 😁
