After Ashs' post with this material i couldn't resist trying some. This is blue steel and copper. There are a few air bubbles here and there but they were dealt with using CA. The pen is weighty but with the barrel shape the way it is it's not back weighted. I could take some meat out by increasing the diameter of the converter hole for some of it's depth but i could do that at any time. The nib unit is a Jinhao #8 unit and writes smoothly and juicily.
Cheers
Mark

I have used the original M3 material and yes it's quite weighty but I found it to balance quite nicely and take a great shine...

Looks good to me!

Never used the material or even seen it, and that looks like one of them kitless black arts pens! :nooidea:
