Some are expensive but the nices pen I have ever made was a piece of stablized Buckeye burr I wouldn't sell it to nice

Paul you can get it from ultraseal but you need it delivered to a
business address.

ha ha, Frankie, I've gone to the ultraseal site, gone to equipment, vacuum impregnation equipment and then AVG tells me there are 3 viruses and I'm off to a site selling viagra

I guess their site has been hacked.

I got this pump 1.5 CFM, 2 Stage, Rotary Vane, Vacuum Pump

and this chamber Degassing or Vacuum Chamber 11 litres but in stainless.

The factor that makes purchased stabilized blanks most attractive for me is when purchased from areas where really exotic timbers abound the blank values then offset the cost of stabilizing.Becoming a Chemist used to require a level of Education around the same IQ etc as a Medical Doctor apart from the equipment and stabilizer costs the frequency of use shelf life. Specialising and selling becomes necessary eventually taking it out of the hobby into full time exploits. Following this discussion really confirms this to me.
