This is my collection of dip pens - some wood and some plastic but all well used and quite old - none made by me but rather some factory somewhere. After seeing fingwe's beautiful dip pens and being a skinflint I am considering refurbishing and using the ferrules from one or more to make something a bit more stylish.Dscn1516.jpg

Umm - 30p - I might just splash out - I could even buy 2. Mind you that means I won't be able to buy Mrs Ian a bunch of flowers this week (a single daffodil anyway), :thinks::winking:

Great idea...I've actually just made a straight dip pen, I'll post a photo on the forum a bit later once the glue has dried a bit.

Good plan Ian

I've just taken delivery of some ferrules and nibs from Penman Direct. Great service and very reasonably priced.

Plant a couple daffodil bulbs behind your shed and when they flower you should have enough to keep the wife happy and you can sell the excess to your mates.:funny:
