Can you tell me how to make a featherblank? Not the casting itself but how to put the feathers on the tube. What kind of glue, did you paint the tube? Other Thricks?
I am a flytyer so I have a nice collection of feathers and might give it a try.

Wim, I did not make the blank, it was made by John Underhill in Yankeeland.
I would only be guessing to describe his method, however maybe Pete @Curly may come in here as his wife is one of the top feather blank makers out there.
