Mark James posted a photograph of a similar looking pen about 3 years ago on IAP forum which I was most impressed with and always wanted to attempt something like it.
I've already told him that I would be copying his plan.
This was also my first attempt at a Gluboost finish.

That's a lovely piece of timber on its own, but further embellished with all that work.... Stunning mate, especially with those colour combinations:drool::drool:

Really like it Alan. I imagine that required a lot of planning.

Tony, the actual design is a lot easier to construct than I first thought. Mark James has documented his process on the IAP forum which helped a lot. The stained glass and cross are 4 pieces of spectraply and the cross 3 pieces of offcuts.
The window is made with 3 layers of veneer inserted into an area cut with a hole saw.
