I have just seen a couple of Leveche pens made from the Ukraine blanks Phil has been selling and have to say they do look good.

Whenever I do striped pens for some reason I seem to end up with a thick bar on the pen :rolling: that I try hiding under the pen clip.

TVS and flexi (A lot of you as well) seem to of mastered the technique and never have that problem.

Are some kits better for the stripy pen than others? I think a stripy pen does look good when done correctly but wonder if it is down to the kit or technique to make it work, in other words would you get the perfect stripy pen out of a Churchill and a slimline (and all other pens in-between)? Or would you only get the "perfect stripy pen from a few kits?
