    Scottish Wych Elm and African Blackwood attached to an English Sycamore base with copper wire, braided in the chuck of a cordless drill. The bowl is 5" diameter, and the block 9" x 2 1/2" x various heights. Finish is Chestnut Acrylic Gloss Lacquer.

    A horsechestnut Burr bowl 380mm diameter x 80mm deep. The blank was given to me by my good friend Basil. It is finished in citrus oil & buffed with a cactus thorn brush. Don't want a gloss on this one as reflections can hide the nice grain.
