Some pen blanks for the Fly Fisherman pen frame.
Waterslide decals on Curly and Birdseye Maple.
Finished with 6 coats of MINWAX Clear Gloss WBOM Polyurethane using my Dipping Method.

Did you print off the decals yourself Les?
As a fly fisherman I'd very much like to have a go at making those blanks one day. Haven't fished for a few years but if I can slip away from the missus this summer I might manage to wet a line in Canada or Alaska( just don't tell her :wink:). Those salmon around Juneau and Ketchikan look just a little inviting.:ciggrin:

They do look great.
I'm in the process of doing two fly fishing themed pens, one will have a carbon fibre pen frame.
Id like to try the wet transfer, where do you get them from?

Dave, I print my own using Testors Clear Waterslide decal paper and my HP Inkjet printer.
