Cutting wood from 3/16" up to 3/4" thick for my latest model build I had got as far as the chassis and realised I had not got enough wood prepared for the next assembly so set about cutting that while doing so I did more for the next two sub...

    My latest bowl blanks

    I am quite sad that this 300 year old oak tree in the village has just been felled by the local council as it was diseased. :sob: I have taken quite a few pieces although a lot would test my lathe to destruction. The stump is about six feet in diameter.
