    Morse taper M3 down to M2

    Is there a morse taper adapter to go from an M3 to a M2, yes thats right the wrong way. I am sure i have seen one of these years ago but can find any mention on the normal places. I know it's not an ideal thing to do but that what i want. cheers

    Hi, I picked up a cheap tester lathe to see if this is the hobby for me and my partner. However it has a 3/4 x 16 spindle not a morse taper. What type of mandrel will I need and can anyone point me in the direction of how to fit it?

    Pen mandrels

    Has anyone checked the accuracy of their mandrel? I tried mine with a dial gauge and it was miles out!! I ended up throwing it away and made my own using an old 2 morse taper drill and a bit of round rod. I am lucky in that I have an engineering lathe as well as a wood lathe but I wonder whether...
