    Problem drilling Olive blanks

    Hi, some advice please. I seem to have constant problems drilling Olive blanks, it creates a lot of friction and then burns. Is Olive harder than most woods or do I need to get different drill bits?

    My First Omega Fountain Pen

    What a lovely kit to work with. I'm really pleased with how this has worked out. This was a made to order pen. The body is made from hand selected Spanish Olive Root around this wonderful gold Omega FP. The kit has been modified with a Left Handed Bock nib. Tony
