    Tool rests - coated?

Hi. Time for another odd question ? I may have mentioned before that I have i nflammatory arthritis... And so have dodgy hands and odd lumps and bumps! And unique ways of holding my tools (or is that just because I'm left handed?!) :whistling: I wanted to ask if anyone knew of a tool rest...

    Foot stool

Been asked by my sister for a footstool with storage so I got on with the legs. Not perfect match but close enough, I should imagine that with practice I could get things like this a little close as i am so use to doing one off's. Now to make the rest of it I have already prepared the wood for...

    Triffid Desk Pen

I had this idea for a desk pen and holder for a while. Turned, carved and burned, the wood is lime with a melamine finish. My wife says it is either great or hideous, but she hasn't made her mind up yet. I would what the rest of you think? The pen is a shade under 10 inches long. Thanks for...

VL100 Dust Extraction Entirely New Method

No where on the floor for the small vac, it will fit behind the lathe when I clean up(just finished making this unit. I used high pressure water pipe fittings). Drilled and tapped two 6mm threads in the tool rest holder. (not much width to work with). The idea is the extractor moves with the...

Cigar in spalted hawthorn taken from my hedge / trees when I cleared them last summer. 3. Euro in ? 4. Knurl g/m...
