    Well, the boxes are all filled and I am ready to load the car for an evening demo. I have my 1 1/4" roughing gouge and 1 1/4" skew to show how to turn a pen:whistling::whistling::whistling:

    The Tormek and the Skew...

    Does anyone on here have a Tormek with a standard wheel...and have trouble sharpening a skew? I bought a slew a couple of years back from Axminster. Can't remember off the top of my head but I think it was Diamec or something like that. I couldn't get it sharp...or shaped...in fact, the Tormek...

    Pink Ivory on TM Alpha

    Here's another present made - this time for my daughter's birthday - her first ever fountain pen. I found this piece of pink ivory quite prone to chipping little flecks out - no matter how much I sharpened the skew. So I started sanding a bit earlier than I normally would so as not to bugger...

    Had a order for light pulls so practice with skew plugs in the ends to hide the knots (1) in Oak (2) in Idigbo (1) in light Idigbo 15 minutes each Finshed with friction polish easy money all sold
