    I've done a search and looked through the forum. Is there a better finish than melamine and microcrystalline wax for a wooden bottle stopper? Any ideas other than finish the bottle and not use a bottle stopper. :winking: Dave

    Here's a TM Omega in Gold with African Blackwood finished with Melamine and Carnauba Wax and here's a Beaufort Sirocco in Black with an unknown wood finished with Melamine and Carnauba Wax.

    And yet another attempt !!

    Finally back in shed! Managed to turn this fancy slimline pen, finished with a melamine and microcrystalline wax. Quite happy with my efforts and this and the acrylic pencil is heading south for Sunday! !!
