I notice that a few here use a wax finish on their pens, I assume sanding sealer and then wax to a nice sheen. I personally don’t use wax alone as I wouldn’t have thought it would be hard wearing enough...

I was chatting to someone a few weeks ago and they told me that they always wax a pen regardless of the finish (C.A, melamine etc) or if it is Acrylic or wood. Since then it has been revolving around my head as to why they would do that. I was going to ask on here but feel you may all be tiring...

I placed an order last week and with that order i got a free stick of Hut PPP wax. So this is my first waxed pen. Am happy with the shape and like the satin feel of the wax, but my research says that the finish won’t last long.
