Okay, I have a kilo or so of phosphur bronze and I have been thinking about using it in a blank. If the chips are very small, you could put CA glue on the brass pen tube and wither drop the chips onto it or roll the tube in the chips and just keep adding CA and more chips until you have covered the whole tube, then cast it in acrylic.
