The material costs will be around the same however the machining cost may be slightly higher.

Titanium would give a lightweight version.

I will find out.

How about a number series?
T M One = Pencil
T M Three = Fountain Pen
T M Five = Ball Point
T M Seven = Roller Ball.

Just a thought!!

A couple of my girls need what I believe is called a tactical pen.
Titanium or other very hard material with a goodly strong point at the nib end and a circular sawtooth at the finial end
One girl called them skull crackers or DNA catchers, I was actually drawing one up when I saw your post.
The bastard that wants to abuse these girls had better hope the police catch him before we do init?

Haven't read this whole thread so don't know if you've named this pen or not Dan, but how about naming any sequence after iconic British engineers such as Brunel, Stephenson, Telford, Gresley, or famous people from the past, Drake, Nelson, Montgomery?

Having said that a degree of caution would be required, calling one the Barnes Wallis could be counter productive!

Good point Neil, you only have to remember what a flop Captain Kirk's lingerie range was though personally I think "Shatner knickers" was doomed from the start :rolling:
