I wouldn't mind a tree like that in my back yard Angelo, a very nice pen indeed .. :wink:

The color is unique. Is this from pruning or did you have to take the tree down? Awesome looking pen.
Terry, a hollow (carpenter ants) branch about 10'long and 8''-10'' dia. Only had about 1-1/2'' thick wall.
Cut up all kinds of crossways to get this. Had to dry it a little in the microwave. The black at the CB is actually charred.
I thought it was a nice touch so I kept that and cut the other end to length.
