Another attempt, stabilising and dyeing

This time some cross cut Walnut, the stabilising certainly helped, it was so weak before.

I was surprised Soft Walnut in all my Walnut collection the great thing has been how solid the timber is. Wonderful to make a lovely item from not so obvious grain before hand. I join with others beaut pics Brad.
