Look what the log fairy gave me, ok so they are log slices from a trunk and not quarter sawn but that spalting looks good. They will need a little trimming to get then to swing on my lathe as i can only do 12in diameter. Have sealed the ends and will see what happens.

Don't you just hate it when they cut them to short. Never mind you could make lots of pen blanks:wink: or even some small boxes
