Another traditional Aluminium fountain pen, only fountain pen kit I have, the nib barrel is a bit of rod I had and the clip barrel is my casting with melted scrap..

That's a superb pen, Ted:thumbs: I don't like the kit because of the lack of a band, but the kit now looks finished in that coat.

Ted, I go along with Peter on that entirely, the kits only have designed but your metal pen gets round that. Like it a lot, just a shame that the nib holder gives up in time as it pops in and out of the plastic insert in the cap.

Thirty years ago I bought ten pens same shape in various configurations I loved them then and still.

When Brad said less is sometimes more it is so true.

I will take a pic of the pen I mean on the table shortly and show you why I made this comment on another post..

Love it Ted the kit was an old favourite of mine and making it with metal has dispelled the old no band brigade LOL :winking:
