10" Diam Bowl in Yew

Not anything finished. But what would you say if this turned up as a Birthday present. The slabs it is sitting on are 18" square yew and holly and with the promise of more different woods

First Ring turned from Carmarthenshire Storm damaged Yew.

Hi guys, This is the third order from a gentleman in Bath. This will go with the four others I have made for him. This one is a Mistral pencil in rhodium, dressed in X cut Yew, wood blank again from Dave, aka "Lignaterrae" Kelvin

Small Yew vase 120mm high. It was made from branch wood so quite pale in colour for Yew. Interesting grain in places though.
