First I would like to thank all you clever folks that commented on my toilet seat white oak blanks. I did enjoy your wit.

Here is my effort. Triple veneer serpentines. One with Maple and Ebony. One with Ebony and Mahogany.

Great success beautiful pens Terry. Our daughter is visiting from the states and I asked her where Roanoke Illinois was and she reminded me we drove to St Louis about 200 miles away in 1985. I was going around the world for 7 weeks with a death sentence of 3 mths for cancer over my head. They the daughter and family drove from near Washington DC 1500 miles to meet me in Kansas City and they drove me to Illinois to look at significant sites related to Church of great interest to us. Life is completely unpredictable her husband got his first Army posting so I got to see them in Frankfurt Germany a few weeks after. I remained alive Cancer free? until last year when it bit me all through took the smile off my face. Still in remission for several months still smiling although quite burnt by Radiation Therapy and Injections.

Peter.
