Segmentation made with Alder from the firewood pile, Mahogany and maple veneer. Kit is a Sirocco from Beaufort.

I managed to bag a load of veneer on evilbay last week The plan iwas to use it for segmented pens. However some of it is too nice for that. The photo below shows a small quantity of the veneers in a 30 inch square. This is about a fifth of what I received.

Ordered a kit from Phil to make this one my new personal pen. Rippled Maple with a triple veneer serpentine. Veneer is Ebony & Mahogany. CA finish. Really pleased how this turned out.
