Veneer for segmenting

I managed to bag a load of veneer on evilbay last week
The plan iwas to use it for segmented pens. However some of it is too nice for that.

The photo below shows a small quantity of the veneers in a 30 inch square.
This is about a fifth of what I received.

In our Wood Guild Veneering suppliers used to come to our exhibitions and sell starter packs, advanced packs. I have some of those very handy.
