    Any ideas?

I’ve been scratching my head on how to best cut a cable hole/slot in the back of this unit on my boat. It’s underneath the gunwale and there’s a 6in height gap and 4.5in to the back of the unit under the gunwale. I was thinking an angle drill with a hole saw to fit one of those desk type cable...

    Pen blanks from Sawes/Toni

After my success of turning Toni Ransfield’s beautiful polymer/acrylic blanks I asked Scott, Mr Blanks, if he could cast my other 2 set of Toni’s blanks in acrylic so I could turn my signature shape. These he gladly did F.O.C. & sent them back with a nice little packet of sweets for good...

    Another Amazing Pen

Another African Blackwood heat sensitive. The wood changed from black to this colour after being in my pocket for about 5min. There is a choice of 6 colours it could change into depending on how long the heat is applied. When the pen cools down it goes back to black. Glen

    Back from Surgery yesterday.

They called a risky one, suffered an event under anasthesia so they kept me for several hours more doing checks and balances. Some internal 3 D pics showed severe burning from my 39 visits for Radiation to kill cancer a couple of years ago. No such thing as a free lunch. Not supposed to drive...

Oh bother! Are these tubes jinxed?

Vic was kind enough to give me some lovely blanks when we met a few months back, and I set about making a Mistral with a nice purple acrylic (or polyester?) one. That blew out on the nib barrel :sob: So I cleaned up the tubes and dressed them in another beautiful blue blank, only to have that...
