    The Tormek and the Skew...

    Does anyone on here have a Tormek with a standard wheel...and have trouble sharpening a skew? I bought a slew a couple of years back from Axminster. Can't remember off the top of my head but I think it was Diamec or something like that. I couldn't get it sharp...or shaped...in fact, the Tormek...

    Wenge pen

    Just one this week. A chrome Omega roller ball from TM. Dressed in Wenge (thanks goodtimber.com), Finished in melamine and wax. I found this wood very hard to turn and blunted my tools very quickly. But the lustre in the wood is stunning. Kelvin
