Earlier on last week I mentioned I was turning a pen that suddenly changed colour on one half,

Whilst sanding a small bit came away and very small holes were appearing.
I only managed an 80grit and a 120grit, I felt it too risky to continue,

Today when taking photo's of last weeks pens it felt very soft, a heck of a lot softer than when I was sanding it.

Well you got it finished and assembled, might be a keeper just to see what happens in the future.... :thinks::thinks:

Oh it's most definitely a keeper,
It has no finisher on nor does it even have any sanding sealer.

I am keeping it because I am intrigued at how the rot will work out, as I mentioned that half of the blank is now soft to the touch, well spongy.
I was surprised I managed to assemble it to be honest especially where the bit that fell out is (and no I don't mean on the shed floor) situated.
