Started the day making a vase but it split, so I found this blank at the back of the wood store which was nice and dry. Very pleased with the spalting on this one so kept the shape simple to let it show. 6 3/4" X 2"

Lovely shape Derek, perhaps a tad thinner but that's only my opinion

Not with this piece more of a necessity than design very soft in places the lumps that this came off was just at that point of falling apart but managed to save them. The next lot which I have rough turned are much better
