Hello
I am Sorry for any in convince to the members of this board.

However as I stated earlier for my friend’s birthday last year went to the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry website contacted a number of horologist.www.fhs.ch/

One the horologists asked me what my budget was I said £50/75CHF the horologist said he had a budget label and that he could accommodate me within my price range, so got a rose gold plated watch with roman numerals Brown leather crocodile effect strap watch wooden case for £50 per watch plus 10CHF shipping I had pay western union and import tax but I got 2 Swiss Watches for under £150.big__TN21.jpg

At christmas I gave my friend a Mappin and Web sterling sliver money clip which normally cost £95 It was on sale for £25 so I purchased 3 so I can give as gifts to male friend.

The year before I went to a London shirt maker and got 3 shirt 2 for my friend one for myself £80 normally £50 each but at TM Lewin it was 3 for £80.

In 2010 I contacted s London silversmith to purchsase 3 pairs of cufflinlks because my friend and my father birthdays are one month apart and one pair for myself of sterling silver cufflinks engraved with our names in Arabic script for £210 £70 each rectangle cuffllinks with chain link between both parts of cufflinks.

Another friend’s birthday I gave him Laban sterling silver fountain pen engraved to his name from Farhan and another friends name form a specialist pen website in London I went down on person and got the pen engraved in front of me. I could have gone to department store purchased a Parker pen for the same money not sterling sliver.

I can get the vintage nibs 14ct with everything for £30 all I need is someone put nibs in to a pen, some people say the kits they use cannot take the vintage nibs and that non-gold nibs they are just as good.

However if you were giving a pen for birthday gift, it had an iridium nib or steel nib or 14ct gold nib to someone who was not a pen aficionado and said 14ct gold nib they would be impressed.

So how hard is to put vintage nibs in a wooden pen?
Once again I apologise
Yours

My above post by the way was aimed at the originator of this thread, I do apologise for any bad language but this is not the kind of person that this forum needs. Is it not possible to exclude it from what is otherwise a lovely friendly site?
