    I was pleased with the result, my first attempt at stabilising, once done the bits sank in water so I got good penetration.

    Well despite a hectic weekend I did manage to cast my first blanks. I used translucent tinting pigment from easy composites, will try the powder colouring next attempt. Quite happy but will have to see how it turns later in the week.
