My first proper go at acrylic, quite nerve wracking to begin with but when I got to the last 2 or 3 micro meshes it just popped and was quite spectacular to be fair! :-)

    Micro Mesh with soap ?

I was watching a few clips on You Tube and see some people use soap and water when wet sanding with micro mesh. Does anyone else use soap ? Is there a benefit in using it ? What soap do you use ?

I'm thinking about getting the Sorby Micro Sandmaster head-only kit. I do mainly small projects - custom fly tying tools, drop spindles for spinng, etc. Is this a worthwhile tool? I want to turn my own handle, so I'm particularly interested in what the dimensions of the tenon are (width and...
