    30/06 Twist

    I cut the casing head and casing neck off a 30/06 casing, drilled out a lead free FMJ 30 caliber bullet to accept a Cross refill. Applied an Elk to a piece of curly maple using Testors Clear Waterslide Decal and finished with 10 coats of Thin CA using my Dipping Method that I'm still working on...

    Poundshop CA

    Anyone use poundshop CA for finishing pens? I tried some recently and it is thin, but not as thin as Zap thin CA, and several coats seems to give good results. Also, it doesn't make kitchen roll smoke like Zap does. Because it is so cheap - £1 for 20g bottle or 8 x 3g tubes - will it flake...
