Its been a while since I turned any pens or posted any pics. First of all I turned 10 of each style. The lever action is a new kit for me. The barrel is short enough I can get 2 from 1 blank. I'm hoping it sells well. Second picture is the Over/Under kit also new to me. This pen is a...

    HELP with SIERRA PENCIL KIT

I have purchased 4 SIERRA PENCIL KITS from Penkits UK. Just turned one and I am not happy with it or I am doing something wrong on assembling. When you eventually get the lead out you cannot turn it back. How and where do you store spare leads. Anyone had experience of these pens. Glen:sob::sob:

    Walnut Bowl

Had a rummage through my wood blanks and thought I would rough turn one of the Walnut ones. Turned the outside and did a moisture test and it was down to 12% so the log had been laying around longer than I thought, so I decided to turn to completion. So here it is, size is 9" X 2"

    Glittering slims.

I am still experimenting with resin, colour and glitter. These are My latest efforts, now that I get the mix right, I find the Polyester easier to turn, before it was way too hard and brittle. :praying:

    Wenge pen

Just one this week. A chrome Omega roller ball from TM. Dressed in Wenge (thanks goodtimber.com), Finished in melamine and wax. I found this wood very hard to turn and blunted my tools very quickly. But the lustre in the wood is stunning. Kelvin

    Withdrawal symptoms

Relieved a little by putting a few blanks from inside to the blank room. Relieving the need to rearrange, ready to turn again soon. So many needs and musts first. Apology the pics were all cropped etc but since mongrel Windows took over they are in three places cant find them now. Peter.
