    BMPK Shakespeare fountain Pen kit

I've bought a few pen kits just recently and the quality has been reasonable to cheap and nasty even though the cost doesn't reflect it. One kit I got from Axminster is so cheap looking I won't even bother using it quite frankly. Today I received the BMPK kit from Taylors Mirfield and what a...

    My latest Mistral

A Mistral turned using M3 Mokume, I find this a fascinating material with a lot of depth, and of course the metallic shimmer. I think the space age quality of M3 works well with the traditional quality of the Mistral. Haven't seen much of it on the forum recently!

    Imperial drill bits

Quick question peeps :-) I'm think of having a bash at the TM Omegas, but wondered where to get the 15/32" and 25/64" drill bits from (of a decent quality too). They seem to be like hens teeth! Any ideas to save me from hours of googling? Adie

Been Listening to the children squabbling Been thinking, Does the weight of a pen determine the quality of a pen. Most people relate to lightness as cheap & nasty and something with a bit of weight a better quality What is the ideal weight of a pen ?? What are your views ????
